I helped launch Viacom's new movie channel, EPIX as a social media moderator. There, I built a full social media plan, managed several accounts across various platforms, designed several product requisition documents including one for game mechanics on the site, ran social media meetings, and presented easy to digest metrics on social media campaigns including live events.
I went on a 1 week road trip in which I saw over 100 friends on Facebook in person. During this trip I learned a lot about social media, relationship, and about myself. I saw childhood friends I hadn't seen since I was a kid, people from high school I didn't talk to, coworkers, old professors, ex-girlfriends, and ex-best friends. I recommend everyone take a Facebook Roadtrip.
TMI Weekly is a web based talk show starring popular videobloggers Julia Allison, Mary Rambin and Meghan Asha. I engaged and activated their community by cross pollonating their communties on different social platforms like twitter, youtube, and facebook.
With the data I collected on my Facebook Road Trip I created an installation addressing relationships founded in virtual social networks as well as the inate human desire for physical authenticity. The sculpture consists of roughly 100 handcrafted shelves with a found object on each, and an inverted laptop running a loop program I can a 'digital painting.'
This is an interactive installation regarding identity in digital photos. At the begining of my exploration into virtual identity I did an interactive computer project that addressed a person's idenitity as presented in photographs.
