Collection of Experimental Video
While in college I created a few experimental videos. I learned how to green screen and used programs like After Effects, Cinema 4d, and Final Cut. In most of my videos I address how I feel like I've been effected by media and technology. The videos are admittedly a little rough around the edges but I'm proud of the execution. I came from almost zero video experience before making these. After a recent visit with my former professor he told me that when I wanted to express an idea I didn't let a small obstacle like technical limitations get in my way. This is why I went to school for art. Today media and technology change incredibly rapidly. I knew that if I studied a trade or skill I could easily be replaced or outdated. If I focused on what makes me unique and my ideas I would be irreplaceable.
